While living in Europe I was given a camera, this act of kindness derailed my medical ambitions. Returning to New York at the height of the photojournalism frenzy I found myself a devoted assistant to Burt Glinn at Magnum Photos. Burt gave me a unique gift of how to tell a story in one frame. Using that impetus created 25 years of world travel shooting pictures that make a difference to preserve the environment and important historical structures. I'm passionate about working with archeologists, architectural historians and environmental engineers as a partner to educate the public and inspire communities to work together.  I use large format cameras, helicopters, drones, and fluid motion capture as exciting storytelling tools for still photographs and films that work so well on documenting projects.
